Kybele is a 501(c)3 humanitarian organization dedicated to improving childbirth conditions worldwide through medical education partnerships. Our organization brings US, Canadian, Australian and European healthcare professionals into host countries to work alongside doctors and nurses in their home environments. Our teams promote teaching and provide hands-on training in techniques that improve healthcare safety. Countries served include Armenia, Georgia, Ghana, Turkey, Egypt, Croatia and more.

The Society for Orphaned Armenian Relief (SOAR), Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing humanitarian relief to orphaned Armenian children living in Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh, and Javakh. Working with a loyal donor base and a trusted network of partners abroad, SOAR distributes much needed food, clothing, medicine, educational supplies, and other essential resources to orphaned Armenian children living in Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh, and Javakh.

Sophie’s Foundation was created in response to the growing need to provide assistance to orphans. Instead of simply providing funding to adoptive families, which the Foundation does, the founders, Doug and Christiane Potts, recognized that through helping agencies and organizations that work with orphans and adoptions they could provide much needed assistance to many more children.

Worldwide, children living without permanent parental care are at heightened risk for under-nutrition, putting their health and development in great jeopardy. Yet without proper resources, caregivers and professionals are unable to meet the specific nutrition and feeding needs of these children. is an international portal, part of A Child’s Best Start program, for specialized feeding and nutrition training, best practices, literature reviews and information to effectively equip caregivers and professionals with the tools they need to protect the health of vulnerable children around the globe.

Our mission is to improve the nutrition of orphaned, fostered, and adopted children so they can grow and thrive. We seek to:

  • Give as many orphans as possible the chance for healthy development
  • Improve nutrition policies and procedures for orphans around the world
  • Ensure that fostered and adopted children get the nutrition they need in their new homes
